Building relationships
Repairing harm
Resolving conflict
MIRRA is beginning to work with statutory and non-statutory organisations to build on existing community conflict resolution projects by exploring opportunities where restorative approaches could be used to provide safe spaces for those who are involved in and affected by conflict and/or wrongdoing to talk about how they are affected and what they need to happen to be able to move on.
Restorative approaches recognise that people in communities want to be involved in changing things for the better. It recognises that people want to be heard and included and are willing to come together, bringing their wisdom, experience, integrity, and diverse points of view to find solutions.
